Sorry to hear about that. I've been visiting that site for years and never had any problems, but I also don't have anything in the car that anybody would want to steal. If you are the guy that we saw parked near the 97th Ave. intersection, then I would say that the difference was the location where you park. I've always parked near the gate to the wastewater facility. Parking near 97th Ave would be risky since there is a lot of traffic coming down 248th St. Again, sorry about your awful experience; it's Miami.
