Got to tour some cane & rice fields on Friday--highlights include a few dozen wood storks, 4 spoonbills, king rail and a wild turkey on Sugarhouse Road.
Saturday--lots of the usual suspects at Peaceful Waters Park in Wellington--many juveniles, especiall rwbb, moorhens, btgrackle and mottled duck. One female mallard and a pair of very dingey-white 'farm' ducks that seemed very mallardy. Cormorants, least bittern, many green herons, shrikes.
