The kingbirds successfuly raised four babies at the nest site by the parking lot at Paurotis Pond. Recent reports tell of all four babies in the area and "leaving home."
Speaking of home...it was a remarkable nest just slightly above the water level and fashioned from leaves and Spanish moss. An alligator would only need to put its head up to eat the whole works.
