I believe the other Cave Swallow spot is between Kendall Drive and Killian Parkway, just after the toll heading south. Like Stephen said though, the 216th street is a sure thing, plus you can park.
As for the pelagics, you would see them MAYBE if a hurricane happened to blow them close enought to shore. Larry Manfredi may have a pelagic off of the Keys during your visit, so check with him.
