: The Masked Duck was seen this afternoon at 1:45 PM. Take the north (left) fork of the boardwalk and go halfway between 45 degree angles, look due east along edge of bulrushes. It was in the open about 2 minutes. Least Bitterns in abundance.

Follow up: The duck seen again at 4PM about the same place. It sits quietly behind the reeds and only rarely moves. Check out any russet spots(the body) next to black ones(the head).
