There was a solitary immature glossy ibis probing the lawn at my neighbor's yard on Monday, June 16. This morning it was perched on my gate as I left for "work." The bird had a solid brown belly, whitish neck with brown flecks, dark legs, and a greenish-black cast on its wings.
Ain't nature wonderful?
