The ospreys have fledged ( I guess, since the nest is empty). No shiny cowbirds heard either. The only birds around seem to be about 8 paired off Mottled Ducks, two with chicks.
I was able to see a mutual head bobbing display before sex in one pair. I didn't know ducks did that. Both ponds are full. Perhaps some new rarity will show up here. It's just right for a Masked Duck.
