Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is located in Fort Lauderdale at A1A and Sunrise Blvd. Follow the signs and go in the NW gate. It's open 10:00 to 4:00 and is closed on Mondays. There is a charge for grounds only of $10.00. However, we are hoping they will start a birding membership of may 35.00 per year. We'll see. The person at the welcome center may have no idea what you are talking about but tell them anyhow that you are there to see the owl. I warned the curator today that folks might be coming. The owl was seen by the dry fountain. I looked briefly this evening after the pelagic and did not see it. If you do not see it there go to Hugh Taylor Birch across Sunrise Blvd. ALSO the mosquitoes are REALLY, REALLY BAD, be prepared.
