Hey everyone,

I ended up going to Jax from Orlando this morning in hopes of seeing the bird. Of course, I bump into Angel and Mariel there (they seem to be everywhere!) and Trish. Had great views of the Sand plover, but it was windy and cloudy. Had a bunch of lifers while up there:

Lifers:
Greater Sand Plover
Black Tern (1 in breeding plumage)
Red Knot
White-rumped Sandpiper
Sooty Shearwater (Injured bird floating just offshore)
Whimbrel

Other birds seen:
Forster's, Royal, Sandwich, and Least terns
Sanderling
Wilson's, Semi-palmated, and Black-bellied Plovers
Ruddy Turnstone
Laughing, Ring-billed, and Greater Black-backed Gull
Willet

Pictures will be coming soon enough!
