Hey Rock. . . . I though raul Urgelles was giving the ode presentation? At least it reads that way in the box on the right of the birdboard. If I lived over there in Miami-Dade I'd like to come to the talk BUT. . . . this is the season finale of Lost and one does have to have his priorities! BTW, Dennis Paulson, who did his PH.D thesis on odes at the U of M "back in the day", recently released a new guide to "Dragonflies of the West". You can read about it here:

An Eastern companion will follow next year and Dennis says: "my eastern guide will include only the region not covered in the western guide, and it will certainly include south Florida, Vince, all the way to the Dry Tortugas. Interestingly, species aren't being added to the North American fauna in Florida at the rate they are in Texas and Arizona, perhaps because of the sea crossing necessary for immigrants (also, a lot less field work down there). The eastern book will have about the same number of species as the western one, and I set the dividing line to accomplish this."
