Brian and I split the Everglades NP in half this year. I started at 6:30 from the Coe Visitor Center to and including West Lake, with stops at Coe, small bridge, Anhinga Trail & forest trail,
Research Road & hike to Mt. Everglades, Long Pine Key Campground, Pa-Yee-okee Observation tower (worthless), Mahogany Hammock, Paurotis Pond, Nine-mile Pond, and finishing at 4:30 with West Lake.
Water levels were extremely low to non-existant. Anhinga Trail has more exposed lake beds than water. Hike to Mt. Everglades had a few puddles and that was it.
Highlights included 4 Sandhill Cranes (1 seen, 3 heard), 1 Canada Goose at Mt. Everglades, 2 Bob White at Long Pine Key, and of course, the rookery at Paroutis Pond.

Brian, I don't know how you did the ENTIRE Everglades by yourself in the past.
