Seven birders joined me for today's birding trip in the Cutler Bay area. At Bill Sadowski Park, we saw White-crowned Pigeon, Chimney Swift, Purple Martin, Black-throated Blue Warbler, American Redstart, Northern Waterthrush and Common Yellowthroat. An Everglades Racer was photographed by Jeff Weber at very close range. At Cutler Wetlands, we saw Mottled Duck, Roseate Spoonbill, American Avocet, Black-necked Stilt, Semipalmated Plover, Semipalmated, Least and Stilt Sandpiper, Dowitcher sp. and Least Tern. At Dump Marsh, we added Glossy Ibis and Common Nighthawk.
