NAMC - Black Point and Cutler Wetland

Started at 6:40 this morning at Black Point and found much less than I expected there. Only 22 Species 81 Birds... Not one shorebird!

1 Brown Pelican
8 Double-crested Cormorant
2 Great Blue Heron
10 Great Egret
15 Cattle Egret
1 Green Heron
3 White Ibis
2 Mottled Duck
3 Laughing Gull
2 Least Tern
6 Mourning Dove
3 Red-bellied Woodpecker
2 Great Crested Flycatcher
5 Northern Mockingbird
1 Loggerhead Shrike
2 European Starling
2 Prairie Warbler
1 Northern Waterthrush
4 Red-winged Blackbird
3 Boat-tailed Grackle
4 Common Grackle

Then I counted Cutler Wetland. There were many birds there which made up for the low totals at Black Point. 43 Species and 629 Birds

So all together 49 Species and 710 Birds.

Toe did well at Dump Marsh. I'm waiting for him to post....
