Hey Everyone,
Long time no post. Living in Orlando instead of Miami will do that. I headed out this morning with my Dad to South Dade. Ran into Trey at Cutler Wet(dry)lands. Not alot of water out there, but quite a nice number of waders.

2 Roseate Spoonbills (immatures, almost completely white)
Many white ibises
4 Least Terns
Many Least and Semipalmated Sandpipers
10 Semipalmated Plovers
Common Moorhen
Loggerhead Shrike
Red-winged Blackbird
Boat-tailed Grackle
Black-necked Stilts (many)
Lesser Yellowlegs (1)
Short-billed Dowitchers (4)

From there we headed to Dump Marsh where we saw more of the same. We added a couple birds there.

Monk Parakeet
Northern Cardinal
Green Heron
Glossy Ibis
Killdeer
Mottled Duck (2)
Great Blue Heron
Great Egret
Black Vulture
Turkey Vulture

We stopped at Sadowski Park on the way back north. A couple nice birds there.

1 Black-Throated Blue Warbler
8 American Redstart
2 Blackpoll Warblers
1 Great Crested Flycatcher
1 Cooper's Hawk
6 Muscovy Duck (including 4 duckings)
4 Chimney Swift
1 Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Many Cardinals, Blue Jays, and Northern Mockingbirds

We saw Walter, Sue, and Carlos at Matheson Hammock. A quick walk through the west side trail revealed nothing :(.

Some pictures to follow soon.

Hopefully tomorrow's walk won't be too birdless... :: fingers crossed::
