There was a single White-rumped Sandpiper this afternoon among the many Semipalmateds, Least, Stilt, couple of Westerns, and single Solitary Sandpipers. From the fenced structure on the north side, look southwest towards the last light pole on the apartment parking lot and scan the furthest puddle. A scope is a must. There were also Black-necked Stilts, 6 Roseate Spoonbills, and a Cliff Swallow that made a couple of passes over the water.

At Dump Marsh there was a female American Wigeon in the north pond, and many shorebirds in the pond behind the water treatment plant. I heard and saw a distant Kingbird on the wires between 248 St and the landfill that could have been the Tropical, but could also have been a Gray. I did see a Gray Kingbird on the wire to the west of the treatment plant.
