If you have a canoe or (better yet) a kayak, there is a Frigatebird roost on the Arsenicker Keys 5-miles south of Homestead Bayfront Park on the west side of Biscayne Bay. There are probably a lot of wading birds nesting on the Arsenickers this time of year too.
"Arsenicker" is a Bahamian term for "having your arse nicked at" by irate parent birds when Bahamians would try to harvest eggs from their nests for food.
