There are a pair of swallow tailed kites who appear to be nesting at the spot reported last year-on the edge of the golf course on University Drive just south of Bird Road(40th).Look up into the Australian Pines. I live about a mile away, and one(from this pair, I'd surmise) hovered over my house yesterday with what appeared to be nest material. I haven't driven the 100 yards down University to check the birds out, but with my naked eye from Bird Road rolling by in rush hour traffic, there appeared to be one bird sitting on a nest. I will revisit in the next few days for a closer and more definitive look.
