True, my co-workers get excited about seeing Blue Jays, RB Woodpeckers and Parakeetes and are always calling me to their windows to see those birds. Of course I don't tell them that they are common (but still cool birds) but go along with their enthusiasm. Feels good to see the birdwatching fever can be catchy.
