I went to Cutler Wetland looking for our annual White-rumped Sandpipers without success. There were good numbers of peeps, some Dowitchers, a Solitary Sandpiper and the usual suspects.
Since there was some question if the Tropical Kingbird was still around I took a good look and didn't find the bird. I searched from 8:30 - 9:30am without any luck. It is possible the bird is still there but this is the first time in a long time that I birded Dump Marsh and didn't see the kingbird.
I sure hope conditions change for next week and Connecticut Warbler migration. :)
