Saw the Western Spindalis at Fort Zachary Taylor in Key West this morning with the High Lonesome Bird Tours group. It was in the general area of the water fountain. Then went over to Indigenous Park and saw a second Western Spindalis. (The first one looked a bit rough. The second one did not. Both were black backed.) The second bird was in a ficus tree just off the cement path, near the cherub water fountain.

Didn't see any of the other superstar birds that have been lurking around here lately, but going back this evening to look again.
