I observed two bald eagles today @ Torry Island along with a brown-headed cowbird and plenty of stilts. Other than that--the usual suspects. However, I had ZERO warblers. Tropical Storm Fay's high waters have killed back all of the woody castor bean and the taller grasses. I suspect the lack of suitable cover might be in part to blame for the dearth of songbirds.
