Emily and I visited Green Cay Saturday afternoon, where, among other things, I photographed the great blue pictured here catching, pummeling, spearing and reverse waterboarding the seemingly impossibly large fish it sought to swallow.It reminded me very much of my mother's admonition to chew my food. Also, I was able to witness and photograph a soft shelled turtle laying her eggs and attempting to conceal them(unsuccessfully) from some predatory crows, who demonstrated that the turtle's sleight-of-fin was no match for their intelligence.
