Morning rain seems to be bringing in warblers at Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP. During the past few days, 12 species of warblers have shown up -- not bad for the middle of August. There was a large movement of Barn Swallows today, with a few Cliffs mixed in and a lone male Purple Martin.

Shorebird species fluctuate daily on Crandon Flats, but so far, nothing very unusual. Black-bellied Plovers are in breeding plumage and very striking.
