Tried Matheson east side early. Didn't venture far from the car. One Black-whiskered Vireo and one singing Gray Catbird behind sign that reads "Main Picnic Area Parking." Other than some calling Cardinals and swifts overhead, no other birds that I could find. Dead silence all over. Heard Cape Florida was dead last two days.
Most common warbler around right now is the Squat Warbler, as in I only see Squat!
