Here's one that is particularly painful to me.
In front of 6 of my ornithology students:
Flamingo --->>> Roseate Spoonbill.
Why so painful? A) I was in Merritt Island. B) I did my master's thesis on Roseate Spoonbill.
ARRRGGGHHHH... at least it is cathartic to put it out there in public. Good idea, Toe. It was years ago and I need to let it go. (turning red as I type this).
