Well, after targeting the Solitary and coming up with other crappy birds (Upland Sandpiper, Gull-billed Tern, Fulvous Whistling Duck...), I decided a change of strategy was in order. So, I went to Cutler Wetlands with a new target bird in mind: Wandering Albatross. It worked! Immediately after arriving I spotted my FOTS Solitary Sandpiper. As for the Albatross, didn't see any, but did have a quick fly-by from a possible Albatross, or was it a Least Tern? Who cares, I got the Solitary!
