I have been going back to Anhinga Trail every few days, waiting for the alligators to start bellowing. This morning at dawn did the trick - they were roaring all over the place, as you can see in the photo link below.
Best bird was an American Bittern, but those gators were Zooming all over the place and scaring pretty much everything in to hiding.
