Went out birding this morning and got very, very wet. Come on gang! These are the days when the trails aren't crowded. On a more serious note, up at this end we note that after these type of small storms pass through the birds are extremely active in feeding (which means moving about) because their high metabolism drains their energy reserves while they roost and wait for the storm to pass. So, sunset time ought to be something!
Today...many bedragled dove, a snipe, and one mottled duck.
