We had the same bird by the old butterfly garden. The bird called several times from that area, also heard it closer to the water fountain on the way back. No looks though, only LBJ fleeing under the veg.

We might get lucky tomorrow; down in the Keys a change in winds from N to S may trigger birds to fly tonight. As the birds fly the will start to encounter west winds over the Marathon area. West winds will continue up through Miami, although not forecasted to be very strong they can still influence birds to fly east. The forecast calls for some gusty winds tonight, partly cloudy and some showers. Marathon actually has the best chance for rain during the early morning hours. Let's cross our fingers that this change in the atmosphere will trigger a mass exodus tonight. Make sure to visit Badbirdz2.wordpress.com for the latest information on birds migrating into Florida.
