A happy chestnut-sided in my Fiddlewood tree this afternoon. The warblers really like Fiddlewoods. Haven't seen Chestnut-sided listed yet and a first for my yard.
My neighborhood and yard have several pairs of SB Orioles year round. In the past they have ALWAYS had the same four part song starting with one simple note and often extending to the full finale. This year their song is completely different. Same first note, then a shorter route to a very different and simpler final song. What's up with that? The new song is extremely well imitated by the mockingbirds.
