Several hatch-year birds have been seen flying over southwestern Broward this past week. An adult, apparently not one from Pines, has been roosting for several weeks at the lighthouse in Sunset Lakes subdivision in Miramar. There is a video of that bird on the Forum on the "eagle Watching" page.
Both eaglets at PP are now flying free, returning frequently to the nest to be fed or to eat prey that is simply dropped there by the parents.
