We birded for about 3 hours in some of the farm fields in South Miami-Dade County today. We had a nice number of shorebirds a total of 11 species listed below. We had a good number of Upland Sandpipers, which are always a treat. There were plenty of Barn Swallows and Common Nighthawks seen as well.

Black-bellied Plover 2
Killdeer many.
Black-necked Stilt many.
Greater Yellowlegs 4
Lesser Yellowlegs 9
Solitary Sandpiper 3
Spotted Sandpiper 1
UPLAND SANDPIPER 9
Least Sandpiper 24
Pectoral Sandpiper 15
Short-billed Dowitcher 1
