My backyard photo blind is producing hundreds of pictures of buntings, blue jays, blue gray gnatcatchers, and black and white warblers. But one bird in particular seems to have a knack for detecting the pre-flash and vanishing before the shutter completes its job. This is a terrible picture but posted here for identification. It is the only picture I have been able to capture of this critter. Is it a Solitary vireo? The white eye circle is striking.
