Connecticuts are primarily May migrants in south Florida. Even May 1 is usually a little early, so it is surprising to hear of one on April 8.
So far as I can tell, the earliest ever report of Connecticut anywhere in the state was April 26.
In other words, on April 8, it would be a mega-rarity.
