Toe just called that he is looking at an Upland Sandpiper in the grassy ditch to the east of the wetlands. While on the phone with him the bird flew and landed on one lucky homeowner s roof. How many times do you get to see that, Upland Sandpiper on the roof! Least Terns were also around; the Gull-billed Tern was not seen this morning though.
