The oldest Bald Eagle (named "Hope" by voters in the middle school students' poll) fledged at exactly 11 weeks of age. The younger bird (Justice) fledged yesterday. Both appeared to have hard falls to the ground, but FWC searchers could not find either on the ground, a good sign. Hope returned to the nest tree yesterday and today was sitting back on the nest, waiting to be fed. Hope is shown in this photo.
