I am belatedly posting some photos Emily and I took when we joined(intermittently) the TAS group at Okeeheelee/Green Cay and Wakodahatchee on March 21.
The photo here is one of the(coincidental) bird shots Emily took. As usual, when we are birding together, Emily used a camera with a wide angle lens to take photos more or less downward, while I am usually looking upward with the telephoto. The link below will get you to both sets of pictures-and I recommend you view Emily's photos as a slide show. Her perspective and compositional sense are vastly different from mine-and as a result she gets images that are both interesting and arresting. Those of you who do parse through all the photos in her set, will be rewarded with a photo of the sora, which I missed. None of her pictures, except the heron pictured here, and the sora, have been enhanced, cropped or altered from the original raw image-I cannot say the same for my shots of the herons, cranes, etc.
