I did note (for future reference) the tail, head, size, and other differences so I can hopefully make a better determination should I see another sometime in the future, after researching.
My sighting was markedly larger than the Northern Mockingbirds going after it. Based on what has been said here and what I found out yesterday online and in my ID books, I'm going to lean towards it being a Cooper's.
