Early in the afternoon today, I found a bright male Prothonotary Warbler near the elevated boardwalk in the main hammock. It was associating with a flock that included Blue-headed Vireo, Black-and-white Warbler, American Redstart (male), and Black-throated Green Warbler. There was also a Worm-eating Warbler nearby working the middlestory, plus I flushed a Chuck-will's-widow that offered distant looks when it perched on a bare limb.
