Jeanette just called a few minutes ago to say that she found a stunning male Yellow-headed Blackbird earlier this morning perched in an umbrella-shaped tree with round hanging seed pods located at the corner of SW 164th Street and 104th Court. The woman who lives in this house regularly feeds the neighborhood birds and says that the Yellow-headed has been coming here for about 2 weeks. It makes an appearance multiple times throughout the day. According to Jeanette, this woman says it is ok for people to come and look at the bird which can be viewed with binoculars outside the property on the street corner. The tree is sparsely foliated and is located on the NW side of the house just inside the white metal fence.
