While walking the West Miramar ESL I encountered two Cottonmouths. This was the smaller. Both were up a path in the open on dry land, about 20-30 feet from the water. Also, only one male and one female subadult Northern Harriers, down from 7-8 a couple of weeks ago. A single Palm was my only warbler of the morning. Pines eaglets, now 10 weeks old, are flapping and jumping a lot.
