Some friends and I attended the grand opening of STA-1E last spring. We found that walking the perimeter berm was not worth the effort because it didn't make a complete loop (at the time, though this was supposed to be changed at some point) and we would end up doubling back over 2 miles on a very hot day.

Is this still true? Or have they finished it so you can make a complete loop?

Is this the case at STA-1W as well?

Would you recommend that people walk these areas, stay pretty close to the information kiosk, or plan to bike the berm?

These same friends and I are hoping to visit STA-1W soon (and STA-1E as well) and I'm looking for advice on the best way to see these places.
