Heading home after spending my day at the Palm Beach Zoo, I happened upon a pair of lovely Black-hooded parakeets perched on the power lines. They were right above the house at the entrance to Dreher Park. They didn't appear to be escapees, considering the absence of any bracelet IDs.
Intrigued, I parked my car and walked around for about a half hour finding nothing much except for an unusually large amount of Eurasian Collared Doves - hundreds of 'em!
