Can anyone point me toward any recent or current information with regard to the status of House Finches in South Florida, especially in SW FL i.e. Charlotte, Lee & Collier Counties. I know about the Florida Breeding Bird Atlas (BBA) but it is out-of-date and lacks any info about the species staus in "our" part of the world. i have seen HOFI in Charlotte, Lee & Collier Counties in low numbers but does anyone have any info about these birds breeding here?
