The Kingbird is at Dump Marsh. From Florida's Turnpike, exit at SW 112 Ave (exit 9). Turn right on SW 248 St. (Coconut Palm Dr.) and drive east. Road will split at Gould's Canal, take right side and follow to gate at waste water facility. (DeLORME p.g 119) Kingbird has been seen along fence around wastewater treatment plant and across from the pond behind the wastewater treatment plant.

I saw a White-crowned Pigeon today at Matheson Hammock, but last Saturday saw many along the C-111E. Heading towards Everglades National Park, the C-111E is the first canal you encounter after leaving Florida City. The pigeons were on the tops of trees about 1/4 mile down along the canal bank.
