Some puddles adjacent to Lucky Hammock are attracting shorebirds. Of interest: Lesser Yellowlegs (numerous), Greater Yellowlegs (3 farther south on Aerojet), Pectoral, Least, Solitary (2) and Stilt (3) Sandpipers. No plovers other than Killdeer. I didn't have a scope, so there are probably more species present. The fields SW of the hammock may be good in 7-10 days for Upland Sandpipers.

Also: an (almost) adult Bald Eagle eating something on the ground, Barn Swallows and a very worn Eastern Kingbird.

The fields around the racetrack are dry, with the only migrants being Barn Swallows, Least and Pectoral Sandpipers.
