After taking a friend to the airport on St Pats we checked Old Griffin Rd. There was no "pot of gold", but two Anis perched and gave us great views. They were in the hedge row directly south of bld 800. It was disturbing to see the hedges and grasses to the east under the power lines were cut, furthur limiting habitat.
We then went to Evergreeen Cemetery there were Parula, Praire, Black throated emerald, Magnolia. Yellow troated, Redstart and a Blue headed vireo.
Then it was noon and we were close to the Briny Tavern for the best Corn Beef in Ft lauderdale.
Then up Andrews ave to a packed "Macquires" where the beverage was fine, music was tradition Celtic, the dancing and merry making was abundant. As Paul B might say "Life is Good" Jim will be headed north tommorrow where we have 8 Ross goose in Northampton.
