Part of birding fun is these lists we make. 28 years ago my partner decided we should have lists for concerts ( like Tanglewood in the Berkshires and Fenway Park ( Home of the Boston Red Soxes). The Fenway list through the years includes Woodcock, Night herons, Pergrines, Kestrels, Redtails. Nighthawks, even a Swamp Sparrow. I always bring my binocs to every sporting event and concerts.

Last night after a slow start bird wise; tailgatings and listening to Irish St Pats Day music and appropriate beverage. It failed to compete with the "Latin beat" in the majority of the parking lot.
We were treated by a Peregrine that made slow wide circles around the stadium very high above the stadium. At the end the bird started a rapid drive after some dinner, but disappeared behind the stadium. what a treat. No treat for team USA that suffered a "mercy killing" by a great team Puerto Rico. Former Marlins vets Delgato and Pudge slugging contributing to the night.
