I leave walnuts on my feeder for the wild macaws. The crows/ravens have figured out how to get the shell open by dropping them on my marble patio floor . Have you read Irene Pepperberg's new best seller- Alex and Me- ?Was a Remarkable African Grey- One of the wild macaws , Fuzzy, a hybrid is another exceptional bird . He/she flies down to where my pet macaws hang out on top of cages and gets in line for treats with my birds. If I'm late
she/he will fly to my upstairs balcony and squack for attention.
