This morning (Sunday, 3/15) there were three Scissor-tailed Flycatchers perched on the power lines along the north side of the park. There was a Kingbird with them but it flew before I had a chance to get a good look at it.

The Indigo Bunting that I reported last week has not been seen again, although there are three mature male Painted Buntings and at least five females/immature males visiting the feeders regularly throughout the day. If you show up before the park opens or after we close, bring bird seed to increase your chances of seeing them.

By the way, we gladly accept bird seed donations. I've been buying the park's bird seed out of my own pocket for 32 years now...being the nice guy that I am!!
